    The 2018 UK Children’s Summit, hosted by Nielsen Book in collaboration with The London Book Fair, explored the latest developments in the children’s book market.

    The morning included the popular Booksellers Panel which provided a chance to question booksellers about what’s happening in the market place. In addition, Nielsen Book presented their latest research into children’s books and reading, revealing key information on the role of books in the rapidly changing media landscape that children are having to navigate.

    Other sessions explored building empathy through reading; understanding the multicultural children’s book consumer and making the most of backlist.

    The 2018 UK Children's Summit was held on Thursday 12 April, 9:00 - 13:00, at Olympia, West London.
